Last night was my leaving Party with my now ex work friends. We booked a table at a local pub called the Woolpack in the small village of Beckington. Ten of us made it for my goodbye's and they had even all chipped in to buy me a necklace that was handmade by Alex Compton - one of the girls we work with who also runs her own glass and jewelry business. Its beautiful!
The meal was great also, they had a set menu deal for 2 or 3 course meal options, I went with 3 and started with Nacho's topped with Veggie bean chili, then a Quorn Cottage Pie with vegetables & onion gravy followed by chocolate and caramel fudge cake with double cream. All for only £9.95!!! To say I was harboring a food baby under my top afterwards is an understatement!
