I realized I have been incredibly complacent of late and have not posted in over a month! I have been very busy of course, although not as busy as I should have been, I've got a bit of writer's block at present so I have been indulging in some 'Me Time' with books, films and TV to give me some inspiration. I received the Charmed box set for Christmas so have been happily making my way through all 8 dvds of the series, as well as reading The Hunger Games (third time through at present - still doesn't get boring) though I am also captivated by a book titled 'Rations. A Very Peculiar History' which is full of interesting facts and info about the first and second world wars and the ration system, how it worked and what it implied, as well as all the tricks people used to help themselves out. It's really fascinating and I've discovered a lot of things I didn't know - and this has in turn in itself been a valuable source of inspiration for my own writing projects. I intend to be leaning more towards a fantasy novel where I can let my imagination run wild with idea's and my own visions, so I am currently working on plot idea's and character analysis to give me something to work with.
