I hope everyone has had a very merry Christmas this year. I am still enjoying my time off, as I go back to work on the 2nd January. I spent Christmas day at my mum's with her, my Nan and Shaun, it was a really lovely day, we watched TV cooked dinner, talked, exchanged gifts - I was very spoiled! Boxing day was spent at my dad's house which was again a combination movies, food, chat and gifts! It was so nice to spend time with them all and just relax and enjoy everyone's company. I loved watching my dad opened his gift from me as I had a picture blown up onto canvass for him of an image from my wedding day, he loved it as I knew he would, it's a one off shot captured by a friend of ours as my dad walked me down the aisle.
Christmas morning was our time with our lovely little pets, and we of course got them gifts too! The rabbits got some treat sticks, and Cocoa got a new coconut toy stuffed with peanuts. We got some cute shots of them opening their presents.
I also got a little video of them trying to open their presnts, but it's on facebook. I have attached the link.
So a good time was had by all, and it has been really nice having some free time to read all the new books I received which is great as I had run out and was re-reading The Hunger Games - I'm obsessed enough already, I keep Catching Fire in my handbag at all times - You never know when you'll get a moment to read a few pages. This also means that I can update my 'Chapters From My Library' blog of new books soon. Which gives you all something new to read other than my gibberish.
