Blonde Ambition

I posted last week about my latest scheme of dying my hair blue. The dye didn't arrive in time for my appointment with Emma but my roots were so horrendous I couldn't leave it any longer so we decided we would go ahead and bleach out the purple ready for when the blue got here, - this took a lot less time and worked better than we thought it would. In most cases of removing red colour variations, hair tends to go orange, but this worked so well that I was almost peach with light bulb yellow on top.

Not a good look!!!

The next step was to attempt to make me look some what 'normal', so we used a very pale blonde base colour and put though slightly darker foils. This worked, but not as well as we hoped, I was still a bit luminous, and Emma asked me to stay so she could put though some darker foils to help even out the tone. The result was brilliant in comparison to how it had looked at first, and this I can live with until I go all blue de da ba di.

6 hours & £50 later....
