Ebbing away

It's amazing what you over look when you are fresh out of college, I really wish I had gone back and done other courses after I graduated. 
Now, 7 years on, I would like to do AS Level English Literature and then go on to do Journalism, however having looked at courses local to me, to go back and do my English Lit A level would cost me almost £400 - and that's just the part time course, I have no idea if I would even qualify for the full time 2 year course, and then I expect I would be really breaking the bank! 
My general point is, if I had had any inclination back then I would have done it, it would have been Free for one thing, but also by now I could be a University graduate with promising career prospects. 
Yet here I am, 7 years later..... Hindsight is a wonderful thing. 
Someone really needs to get on and develop a time machine.
