To Bath

Today we took a tip into our local bustling city of Bath in Somerset, it's a gorgeous place, full of Georgian buildings and plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to explore, along with the Jane Austin museum and the Roman Baths, it is one of the main tourist attractions in the UK. Our visit was due to my husbands birthday and he wanted to spend some of the cash he received as a gift, so we spent remembrance Sunday trawling the shops for Christmas idea's and Tee's for him. We paused to see the military parade through the city center, stopped for lunch in a bar called Revolutions for lunch - we both ordered Denver Fries, mine with garlic mushrooms and Shaun's with Steak and peppercorn sauce, which we were slightly disappointed with as we expected the all American experience beings they are promoting an authentic dish, but really, we should have just flown to Denver!

There is also the Abbey which is just though the Archways in the image above, which is worth a visit as it is spectacular, and so beautiful. The recently constructed South Gate Shopping Center is truly something to behold with it's traditionally designed architecture to match it to the original city walls around it, providing an aesthetically pleasing place as well as a great shopping experience with it's popular stores such as Kurt Geiger, Calvin Klein, All Saints, Hotel Chocolat, Hollister, Superdry and many other's.
